How rankings work
MRR and monthly revenue use the latest completed UTC month. Financial rankings use USD amounts in their original currency, with no conversion.
Only public startups with complete, verified figures and a current authoritative connection qualify. Source proof must be no more than 48 hours old.
Growth rankings compare matching sources, definitions and currencies in consecutive months. Growth-only sharing never reveals the amount or baseline.
Country totals use founders’ publicly shared home countries, not travel or incorporation. Community totals require public founder attribution and active membership.
Each startup counts once globally and once per country, and may count once in several communities. Community totals overlap.
Aggregate growth is shown only when every current contributor shares comparable exact history. Charts omit unshared or missing months. Movement compares the current qualifying entries using their previous shared scores; it cannot reconstruct startups that left the board. Ties share rank.
